(If you prefer to work with a hard copy, please contact your local Division and request a copy of the Presentation be sent to you on a Floppy Disc).
To work through the Self-Directed Familiarisation Training Power Point Presentation, press the right arrow key on your keyboard to go forward and the left arrow key to go backwards (if working online, you can use the scroll wheel on your mouse if applicable, to move between the pages). To work through the Adobe Acrobat presentation, press the down arrow on your keyboard to move forward and the up arrow to go backwards. The Presentation will prompt you to refer to your GP and Practice Manual 2nd Edition at various points; It is strongly recommended that you work with a hard copy of the GP and Practice Manual.
On completion of the Self-Directed Familiarisation Training send your evaluation form (page 6 of your work book) to your local Division of General Practice to obtain professional development points and a certificate of completion.
The work book and quiz have been provided as educational tools only, to assist your personal learning. They do not need to be submitted to your Division to meet course requirements.

3 STEP MENTAL HEALTH PROCESS
Proformas for the 3 Step Mental Health Process have been developed as a resource for General Practitioners when conducting an assessment, mental health plan and a review under the Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care Initiative. Use of the proformas are optional, GPs may prefer to use their own notes, however a copy of the mental health plan developed needs to be provided to the patient.
