The function of the Primary Mental Health Care Network is to provide a platform and support mechanism for the implementation of Australian Government primary mental health care programs through Divisions of General Practice.

Review Implementation Committee (RIC)
The Review Implementation Committee (RIC) is a representative group drawn from the Divisions network and the wider primary care system.
RIC was established by the Department of Health & Ageing in July 2004 to provide advice and to guide the implementation of the range of strategies identified in the government's response to the 2003 Review of the Role of Divisions of General Practice.
Rural Palliative Care
The Australian Government's Department of Health and Ageing (the Department) has engaged the Australian General Practice Ltd (AGPN) to manage the Rural Palliative Care (RPC) Program. The RPC Program is one of a number of initiatives designed to achieve the goals of the National Palliative Care Strategy.
