National Divisions Nursing in General Practice Forum 2007

One of the key activities to be undertaken by AGPN under the Nursing in General Practice (NiGP) Program is to host a two-day annual Forum for the Division Practice Nurse Program Officers and other interested Divisional staff. The first of these forums was held in 2006.

  • The key aims for the forum are to:
  • Showcase nationally relevant NiGP initiatives and models.
  • Share knowledge, skills and resources.
  • Coach and collaborate with divisions to build their capacity to support nursing in general practice.
  • Build support networks amongst division NiGP program officers nationally. Postcodes Covered
  • Provide an opportunity to review the strengths and weaknesses of the NiGP program.

The 2007 NiGP Divisions Forum will be held in Coffs Harbour on 28th & 29th August. Funding is available to cover the travel and accommodation costs and registration fees for one delegate from each Division and SBO. Divisions/SBOs can send more than one representative however this would be at their own cost.

The Division's boundaries encompass the City of Rockhampton, the surrounding districts, the Capricorn Coast, the City of Gladstone and the surrounding districts of Boyne Island, Tannum Sands and Mt Larcom.
