Delivered through the General Practice Network

The Graduate Certificate in Nursing (General Practice) has been developed jointly by the Sunshine Coast Division of General Practice (SCDGP) and the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC). It is a unique and exciting development that is designed specifically for Practice Nurses to develop knowledge and skills to assist them to practice competently within the challenging and constantly evolving general practice environment.

The program was first delivered through the Sunshine Coast Division of General Practice in 2006 and has attracted national attention from divisions of general practice around Australia who are interested in being involved in delivering the program. Following a Memorandum of Understanding between the USC and AGPN, AGPN have taken on the role of National Coordination of the Graduate Certificate in Nursing (General Practice)
