Gary manages a nine Doctor General Medical practice in western Sydney. He has owned and operated a number of extended hours medical practices in western Sydney since 1985. Gary currently consults to the health care industry around Australia on effective practice management. Along with his consulting he presents a range of practice management topics for the Australian Association of Practice Managers Ltd nationally of which he is a Fellow of the Association and delivers the introductory topic for UNE Partnerships in Certificate IV in Practice Management in their Professional Practice Manager Development Program. He also presents for a number of Divisions of General Practice and Specialists Colleges. Gary is also a surveyor with Australian General Practice Accreditation Ltd (AGPAL). He is past National President of the Australian Association of Practice Managers Ltd (AAPM) and is currently the Secretary of the New South Wales Branch. Gary is the Academic Director of UNE Partnerships' Medical Receptionist course, the Certificate III in Business (Medical Reception and Health Care Administration).
Gary is on the Health Task Group advising the Federal Privacy Commissioner on the Privacy Code for the Health Sector, is a member of his local Division of General Practice Management Support Reference Group. He also is involved on a number of Government task groups advising the Commonwealth Government on health related matters
He has a passion for practice management and delivers his message as a result of "hands on" experiences.

Academic Director: Business Management & Leadership Studies, UNE Partnerships |
Leh’s primary experience spans a 25 year period within the behavioural sciences, human resource management , education, training and development fields & management and leadership .His client base spans both the public & private sector in Australia ,Asia & the Pacific Basin. His background also includes several years as a psychotherapist within the community and public mental health sector. This background together with his extensive background as an organisational development consultant enables him to bring a unique perspective and approach to his work with clients and enterprises. Further, this approach empowers his organizational clients to challenge the traditional cultures and paradigms from which they operate.
He holds formal qualifications in the Behavioural Sciences, Adult Education & training, Management & Project Management and is a MAIPM; is currently undertaking further post graduate qualifications in organization psychology; Chair of the PMAA; State Councillor AIPM; Registered Project Manager and Master Project Director. He is the author of various articles & readings in performance management, use of emotional intelligence in teams, strategic review, change management & management and leadership
Leh was formally contracted as a Senior Lecturer, then the Project Director & Lead Assessor to the Frontline Management Unit, Swinburne University (Melbourne) and as a Programme Manager Industry Projects (Swinburne). He is now associated with UNE Partnerships, (the professional training arm of the University of New England) as Academic Director, Management & Leadership Studies. This role assumes overall responsibility for all management and leadership programs. Many of these programs are customized, particularly at the supervisory/management level programs; with client enterprises throughout Australia.
He is also Project Director for the development and implementation of customised enterprise based learning programs in Executive Management and Management (manufacturing based and local government clients); Manufactured Minerals Products; Business Services; Local Government & Public Service National Training Packages. Leh has considerable experience in the higher education sector & VET sector on the development competency based training and assessments systems (at most AQF levels) for several industry sectors and ITAB’s including:
- government (local, state, national)
- electronic and manufacturing
- health /community services sector
- public administration
- financial and insurance services sectors

Associate Director : Centre for Business Management & Leadership Studies |
Glenn has extensive experience in the management of health care practices, including six years as the Group Manager for an 18 doctor general and specialist practice in New South Wales. He is a partner of Osmiridium Management, providing practice management services to several health care practices in New South Wales and the ACT. Glenn is also a surveyor for AGPAL.
Glenn is a Fellow of the AAPM, and is a Past President (2000 – 2002) of the New South Wales branch.
Since 1995 he has presented human resource management/business management courses at TAFE, Practice Management, Frontline Management and Business Management for the University of New England Partnerships (UNEP). Glenn is also one of the Academic Directors for UNE partnership’s business program.
Glenn’s extensive commercial experience is well supported with qualifications in business – Bachelor of Business (Business Management/Human Resource Management), project management (Diploma of Project Management), training (Certificate IV, Workplace Trainer and Assessor), and science (Diploma of Applied Science).

Presenter: Leadership for People Management |
Anne is an independent management consultant to the health care industry. She consults and presents in the areas of financial management, planning and systems for performance, and facilitation of teams to meet their client needs. Anne’s management experience began in isolated rural medical practice. Her role since has been providing management assistance to small to medium health care businesses in both general and specialised arenas.
A strong theoretical base supports Anne’s practical advice: Bachelor of Science (Hons Biochemistry), Certificate of Nursing, Diploma in Practice Management and Masters of Business Administration. And more recently, Anne obtained the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. Anne is a Fellow of the Australian Association of Practice Manager, and a member of the Australian Institute of Management. Anne is Deputy Director (Academic) of the Professional Practice Manager Development Program For UNE Partnerships.
During training, Anne prefers a workshop style, involving the participants and applying the theory directly to personal and workplace issues.

Fourteen years in the telecommunications industry, including six years with OTC in Sydney and eight years with Telstra in Melbourne, in commercial, human resources and corporate planning roles, and over 20 years experience in management consulting with an emphasis on change management, management development, organisational trouble-shooting, group facilitation and the design, implementation and evaluation of performance management systems. Published in the areas of group development and facilitation, overcoming industrial impasses, organisational culture and the influence of uncertainty on behaviour. Has been described as having 'an extraordinary frame of reference and a gift for very lucid exposition'.
Consulting Experience Provision of psychological and human resource consulting services to public and private sector organisations, including telecommunications, transport, health, local government, state government. Services include management and team development workshops focusing on leader-follower relations, negotiation strategies, employee relations, service management, facilitation of organisational change, facilitation skills and techniques; planning conferences; company relaunch; executive assessment and selection; psychometric assessment; design, implementation and evaluation of performance management systems; organisational trouble-shooting; and facilitation of enterprise agreements.

Paul Boland is a graduate of the University of South Australia with the Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy. He is also a Certified Practicing Accountant and a member of CPA Australia. He has 30 years experience in management positions in Government and among those areas he has worked in the Department of Human Services and Health and Government Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Paul established the Seniors Card for the South Australian Government and was involved in aged care and health and information technology.
As a member of CPA Australia, Paul is a past Chairperson of the Professional Development and External Reporting Committees for the South Australian Division. Paul is a member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia and is a past member of the Professional Development Committee with that Organisation. He was also a member of the Government Accountants Group Committee. Paul lectured to University Graduates in Government Accounting, under the CPA Australia Professional Orientation Program.
Paul has worked for 30 years as a Part-time Lecturer for TAFE SA, in the areas of Accounting and Business Law and developed and taught small business courses for WEA Adult Education in South Australia.
Paul has been a presenter with UNEP in the Professional Practice Manager Development Program for the past twelve months.
He also has the qualification of Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and is currently studying for the Diploma of Practice Management.
