Divisions Network Information Management Project
The development and implementation of a divisions network information management system will allow divisions to meet their national performance indicator reporting requirements under the National Quality and Performance System.
The Divisions Network Information Management Project will have three phases:
Outcomes and Objectives of the Phase 1 Planning Study
The Phase 1 Planning Study will define and scope the proposed national system. ADGP will undertake detailed specification and implementation planning so that the Australian Government and the divisions network have a robust framework for Phase 2 - Implementation.
The key output of the Phase 1 Planning Study is a detailed Project Initiation Document that includes a project definition, business case, budget and project plan, in accordance with a recognised standard project management methodology.
The key outcome of the Phase 1 Planning Study is the endorsement of the Project Initiation Document by the Department. Following this endorsement the Department will consider further arrangements to progress activities for Phase 2 - Implementation. Funding for Phase 2 will be the subject of separate negotiations and are conditional upon the completion of Phase 1 to the satisfaction of the Department.
