Divisions Network eHealth Support Program
Background
The Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing has engaged the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) to manage the Divisions Network eHealth Support Program.
The primary focus of the Program is to support the Divisions Network participation in driving the uptake in broadband connectivity and the development of shared electronic health records for use within general practice.
The broad purpose of the Divisions Network eHealth Support Program is to:

The eHealth Support Program Network has been formed to assist and support Divisions to:

drive broadband connectivity in general practice to ensure the effective delivery of wider eHealth strategies

communicate and share information between the Department, AGPN, SBOs and Divisions on key eHealth initiatives and best practice

provide a forum for collaboration between members of the Divisions Network on eHealth issues of mutual interest
-
act as key point of contact for AGPN-led interaction with Divisions on eHealth initiatives.
