  A quarterly forum for the GP chairs of all Victorian divisions, including speeches, presentations, small group work, and a 'hot topics' session, which informs GPDV board's work. Regular teleconferences, for rural and for urban divisions, for divisions to discuss issues with representatives of both GPDV board and the Victorian representatives on the ADGP board. Surveys are used to provide an evidence-based picture of divisions' views and needs on specific issues. Education Resources
  A monthly newsletter and weekly Friday fax. The Divisions Quarterly Journal publishes articles of interest to people involved in the Divisions movement, many of them by staff and members of Divisions. International Medical GraduatesEmail lists are increasingly used to encourage discussion amongst member Divisions. Networks which bring together GPs and Division staff working in specific areas (practice support, diabetes, mental health, IT, youth health etc) are facilitated by GPDV.

A program of workshops on specific issues provides opportunities for Division staff to share learning about common issues.
Representation GPDV board and staff members act as representatives where the board determines that this is strategically valuable. In other cases, GPDV canvasses divisions for nominations, and the board selects a representative on the basis of their expertise and experience in the relevant area.Links About the 8 Projects
Northern Rivers General Practice NetworkPatient InformationGPDV provides representatives of divisions and general practice for a variety of state and national committees. Patient Records Specialist Programs Multidisciplinary TeamsGPDV employs staff to provide a number of specialist programs of support for Divisions. As well as providing specialist expertise, these staff link the programs at statewide level to each other and also to the activities of the five divisions' consultants, thus providing a strong network of integrated programs across the state. Immunisation ) the Victorian Department of Human Services and the National Immunisation Coordinator based at ADGP. GPDV holds regular workshops for Divisional immunisation staff, produces updates and develops and distributes resources, in order to increase divisions' effectiveness in achieving high immunisation coverage rates amongst their members. This program has achieved increased immunisation coverage rates in the state; initiated, supported and enhanced effective programs; and achieved a culture change encouraging an effective dialogue with ACIR amongst divisions and practices in Victoria
 Search:  Clinical SupportGPDV provides support and co-ordination for the immunisation initiatives of Divisions, specifically funded under the Commonwealth's GP Immunisation Incentives (GPII) Program. This involves liaison with all Victorian divisions, other providers of immunisation services (particularly local government providers, who traditionally provide a large proportion of childhood immunisations in Victoria
