News relating to the EDQUM pilot program

EDQUM program expanded for 2005-06 - 15th August 2005
The Department of Health and Ageing in consultation with ADGP has agreed to an expansion of the Enhanced Divisional Quality Use of Medicines Program (EDQUM), with applications now open to new Divisions interested in joining the program.

EOI extended to 23 July, Evaluation Report now avaliable. - 14th July 2004
Call for expressions of interest in the expansion of the EDQUM program has been extended till 23 July. The evaluation report for the initial two year pilot is now avalible from the ADGP website.

EDQUM to expand for 2004-05 year - 28th June 2004
ADGP has agreed to a continuation and expansion of the Enhanced Divisional Quality Use of Medicines Program (EDQUM), with applications now open to new Divisions interested in joining the program.

ADGP welcomes the release of additional funds to support Primary Healthcare initiatives in the 13 EDQUM pilot Divisions. - 13th January 2004
Divisions will be able to deliver improved primary healthcare because a small but significant saving to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme has occurred in participating Divisions where QUM activities have been undertaken as part of the EDQUM program.
