Programs and Projects
Summary of Programs & Projects:
Strategic Constants - The Context and The Programs The strategic constants that will shape the work of DDDGP over the next 3 years encompass the context of the Division's activities and the programs established in order to achieve Division goals.
The Context, or the environment in which the Division operates, focuses on member GPs and their practices, the wider community/consumers, the local service system, and the broad policy and strategic direction of funding bodies.
The Programs have been developed according to four central themes that ensure a flexible and integrated approach to the Division's activities:
- General Practice Enhancement
- Maintain general practice at the highest level of quality
- Health Promotion (& population health)
- Engage GPs/practices in health promotion, illness prevention and population health through integration with other health and community providers as well as consumers.
- Health Service System
- Representation and advocacy for general practice and consumers at local, state and federal level.
- Development of successful relationships with partners and allies in primary health care including consumers.
- Division Management
- Maximise the long term strength of DDDGP and create organisational excellence.
