| The National Heart Foundation of Australia is the leading organisation in the fight against cardiovascular disease in Australia. We are proud to announce, for the first time, the Heart Foundation Conference, "Cardiovascular Disease in the 21st Century: Shaping the Future" on 23-25 March 2006.
Sydney, NSW, is the host city for the conference. The conference is uniquely positioned to address the key issues surrounding the overall management of cardiovascular disease and set strategies in disease management for the years to come. Stakeholders will include cardiac physicians, cardiac surgeons, cardiac technicians, cardiac nurses, health promotion experts, public health professionals, dieticians, nutritionists, scientists and allied health professionals. An exhibition of the latest products and services will be a key element of the conference.
The conference and exhibition will be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, which is adjacent to the heart of the city. The centre offers first class facilities to delegates, presenters and exhibitors alike and is the focal point of Darling Harbour which itself is alive with shops, restaurants and visitor attractions. Hotel accommodation, of all standards, is within easy walking distance from the Convention Centre.
