MindMatters Plus General Practice Initiative

The MindMatters Plus General Practice Initiative ceased in December 2006.

The initiative was a collaboration between ADGP's mental health program and was the  general practice component of the MindMatters Plus Initiative.

The general practice component sought to increase the capacity of demonstration schools, together with their local community, to provide support for students with high mental health needs.  In particular, it sought to promote referral pathways and networks of care for young people with high support needs in the area of mental health and well-being.  It also identify priorities for future national action in terms of school/community and primary care interface.

The MindMatters Plus GP initiative is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing
