The Adelaide Central and Eastern Division (ACEDGP) employs 21 staff with further GPs contracted to provide support services such as GP Advisors and clinical support. The Division?s primary means of communication with the membership are a bi-monthly newsletter, The ACE, and a bi-monthly Continuing Medical Education (CME) newsletter. In addition, any issues arising are sent out via the Divisions ACEFax. The Division has applied its Health Intelligence framework to its current activities that wil see an increasing focus on evidence based processes combined with strong data management. Our website is our primary tool for communication with the community and making relevant information openly available. The Division is unique amongst South Australian Divisions in that it combines a large residential population with the transient population brought in by the business district ie City of Adelaide. There are two public hospitals in the Division, the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) also the main teaching hospital for the State and the Womens and Childrens Hospital (WCH).
