The NEVDGP is a rural division with a large geographic area, approximately one fifth of Victoria. The Division's main office is located in the North East Alpine town of Mount Beauty with two small branch offices located in Programs and Projects Wangaratta and Walwa. The surrounding area boasts a private hospital, four bush nursing hospitals, two multipurpose services, one base hospital and fourteen public hospitals.
