Under the Strengthening Medicare Aged Care GP Panels Initiative a possible Divisional and / or Panel activity might include provision of education and training to GPs, aged care home staff, residents and carers.

This section highlights programs developed by Divisions of General Practice, tertiary courses related to aged care and community certificate courses. Many of the programs developed by Divisions of General Practice are available for reproduction within your local area. Contact the division for more details.

Many panel activities may be framed in such a way that CPD points can be applied for. Melbourne and Northern Divisions (VIC) provide good examples of this through Small Group Learning programs and Supervised Clinical Attachments.
