| Event Description |
The interRAI Coordinating Centre operates from the Academic Unit in Geriatric Medicine at The University of Queensland and provides information and resources in relation to interRAI instruments, for organisations using or considering their use in Australia.
interRAI is an international collaborative of scientists and clinicians that aspires to improve the quality and efficiency of care delivery in services to older and disabled persons. interRAI was established in 1992. Currently, almost 50 researchers and clinicians from over 20 nations constitute interRAI. Australian involvement commenced in 2001 and New Zealand in 2002.
The interRAI methodology provides a procedure for enhancing clinical care that utilises standardised clinical protocols and data collection in aged care and associated services. Comprehensive information about interRAI can be found at the interRAI Website |
