| The objectives of the convention are to provide an annual national academic forum for GP education and training where there is an opportunity for:
- regional training programs to showcase unique developments in their training delivery
- professional bodies, including colleges, Divisions and universities to showcase unique developments in GP education and training
- presentation of research in medical education
- presentations that demonstrate multidisciplinary and vertical integration initiatives in GP education
- professional networking
