ADGP Federal Budget Submission 2006-2007 - Released

ADGP has released its 2006-07 Federal Budget Submission. The submission focuses on measures designed to extend the role of general practice to encompass the delivery of comprehensive, effective and multidisciplinary primary health care, and the vital incentives and infrastructure required to support such a role. The submission has five broad themes: a focus on health promotion and prevention; supporting multidisciplinary care with measures that overcome the structural and systemic barriers to team-based care; mental health; indigenous health and early intervention through a greater focus on the health and wellbeing of children.
