Red Tape Taskforce Discussion Papers
10th October 2003


The Taskforce is focussing its activity in four key priority areas and has developed discussion papers that set out the range of issues identified and proposed priorities for action by the Taskforce. The priority areas are:

  • Streamlining Commonwealth Information Collection;
  • Support for enhanced GP use of Information
  • Management/Information Technology processes (IM/IT);
  • Ongoing Arrangements for Monitoring of GP Administrative Costs; and
  • Reviewing the Practice Incentives Program and Enhanced Primary Care Items.
