The conference will showcase high-quality Australian primary health care research with a mix of international and Australian guest speakers, papers, posters, plenary sessions and workshops. Keynote speakers include:

* Professor Jonathan Lomas is the executive director of the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation. His main interest is in the impact and transfer of evidence for decision-making.

* Professor Michael Quinn Patton, a widely known evaluator from Minnesota, USA, is the author of many books including Utilisation-Focused Evaluation and is a former president of the American Evaluation Society. As you may remember, Michael was to have spoken at the GP & PHC Research Conference this year but was unable to attend after being involved in a car accident on the way to the airport in the US.
