GPs are concerned that many pensioners and people on low incomes are struggling to afford expensive medications when an identical generic product is available at a lower cost, according to Dr Trina Gregory, a representative of the Australian Divisions of General Practice on the Steering Committee of the Home Medicines Review Program.
