BARC puts the focus back on rural health -

A new rural medical forum has been established to discuss strategic planning for national rural health issues.
The BARC (Better Access for Rural Communities) group met for the first time at the WONCA international conference for family physicians, and comprises representatives from the Australian Divisions of General Practice, the Rural Doctors? Association of Australia, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and Australian Rural and Remote Workforce Agencies Group.
