This IPAC conference builds upon important themes that emerged during IPAC06 - when Sir Donald Irvine described Patient Centred Professionalism. He challenged us to rethink the way our patients are engaged in healthcare - in all its aspects, from the design of programmes and services to their experiences of care provided by individual clinicians and organisations.
