Abstract submission deadline has now passed.

On behalf of the Australian Centre for Evidence Based Aged Care (ACEBAC) La Trobe University have great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the 2007 ACEBAC Conference ‘Evidence in Practice:  leading the way in aged care’.  The conference will be held at La Trobe University, Bundoora, Melbourne, on September 26th & 27th.

The conference supports the need for more understanding of evidence based best practice and the implementation of such knowledge in the care of older people and their families.

The conference will draw together leading researchers in evidence based practice with other professionals involved in implementing evidence based practice.

Information to Presenters/Authors

• Acknowledgement of receipt of abstracts will be made by email immediately after receiving submission.
• Authors will be notified by email of their paper acceptance.
• All presenters must register for a minimum of at least one day by the Early Bird Deadline (if applicable) – 01 June, 2007 – or presentation will be withdrawn from the program.
• Submission of abstracts implies the author’s agreement to publish the abstract and full paper in all conference publications including the web site.
• Acceptance of abstracts does not imply any payment from the Conference Committee.  Authors must arrange and pay their own accommodation, travel etc. to attend the conference.

Instructions for Abstract submission

• The body of the abstract should not exceed 300 words
• Submissions are requested to be submitted via email.
• Abstracts should comprise of the following elements:
• Title of Paper
• Authors
• Affiliations
• Abstract Text
• Abstracts should be text only. 
• Include brief 50 word CV of the presenting author.

The scientific committee will peer review all abstracts.  The acceptance is at the discretion of the Conference Committee whose decision is final.
