From August 31 to September 2 2007, the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia inaugural Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at the Geraldton Grammar School. Hosted by the Midwest GP Network, this meeting has evolved from the Abrolhos Conferences held each year at the islands off the coast of Geraldton. Cornerstone partners for the Meeting are the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM), the Rural Doctors Association of Western Australia (RDAWA), St John of God Health Care, WA GP Network (WAGPN), the WA Department of Health and the Midwest GP Network (MGPN).

The theme of the conference is the Rural Generalist Pathway and its relevance to doctors, nurses, health students and health systems.
