Youth in Mind: Youth Mental Health Care in General Practice Conference (7 November 2002)

The Youth in Mind: Youth Mental Health Care in General Practice Conference is a one day conference which will be held on Thursday as part of the 2002 Forum.

The aim of Youth in Mind is to provide the opportunity for the Divisions Network, GPs, Youth Mental Health Stakeholders and Consumers, to come together and discuss the role of General Practice and Divisions in addressing mental health issues affecting young people.

The Youth in Mind conference themes are: Building Partnerships >> Sharing Knowledge >> Supporting Participation.

Areas for discussion will include:

Challenges and Best Practice in Youth Mental Health Care.
Divisions of General Practice initiatives promoting positive mental health amongst young people.
Building Partnerships between Young People, Youth Mental Health Services, Divisions and General Practice
Engaging Consumers.

Youth in Mind Conference Registration Fees

Delegates attending full Forum (received on or before 6 September)	$150

There will be a limited number of registration scholarships available for youth delegates on application. Scholarships for delegates under 18 yrs will be considered if the delegate is accompanied by a full-fee paying and responsible adult.

Cancellations & Refunds - Registration Fees

Notification of any alterations or cancellations must be sent in writing by post, facsimile or email to Conference Solutions. A full refund of registration fees, less an administration fee of $100 (for full Forum delegates) or $50 (for Youth in Mind day delegates), will be paid to any delegate cancelling before Friday 4 October 2002. Refunds for cancellations received after that date are possible only under exceptional circumstances and will be at the discretion of the Forum Steering Committee. If a registered delegate is unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome to attend at no additional cost. Substitute registrations/delegates must be advised in writing to Conference Solutions by Friday 25 October 2002.
