What are the features of Eyre Care Software?

The software can stand aloneOn Monday June 1st 1998, the Australian Divisions of General Practice became an incorporated company, limited by guarantee with no share capital.

The software does not require Medical Director
The objectives of the organisation are:

To ensure that there is communication with Divisions of General Practice, directly or through State Based Organisations; MS Word is required for the software

To represent Divisions of General Practice across Australia;

To be the voice of Divisions of General Practice to the Commonwealth of Australia; If using Medical Director, the software can import the patient's demographic data, medications, allergies, health conditions and immunisation status

To support Divisions of General Practice across Australia;

To advocate for Divisions of General Practice; If using in conjunction with Medical Director - it does not have to be open

To inform the public about issues affecting Divisions of General Practice;

To promote the exchange of skills, information and ideas between Divisions of General Practice. There are data links between the health assessment, care planning and case conferencing forms

There is an archive facility which can be reviewed at any time A range of reports are available It has the ability to export and import data from the program - for example, between a nurses laptop and the surgery computer

What is the cost? The training sessions are sponsored by Pfizer and are free!

How do you access it?Web site provided by GPNetworkThere will be training sessions in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Specific dates for each city have not been confirmed but the sessions are anticipated to be at the end of February and beginning of March. Who can attend? The sessions are for Division IT personnel and Division EPC Co-ordinators. Jim Collins, from Eyre Peninsula Division, will do a demonstration on how the forms work and Max Cheung from Pfizer will answer technical questions.
